Every piece is handmade to order in our North East workshop. We work with the grain, knots and character of each board, shaping and finishing it individually. Those details make your shelf one of a kind: a statement piece with a place in everyday family life.
Black Ebony brings definition to pale walls and warmth alongside timber, brass and earthy colours. Littlefair’s wood dye adds depth of colour while keeping the grain visible, so the shelf retains the individual character of the wood.
The sculpted live edge softens the dark finish with a flowing outline. It is a distinctive statement for a contemporary living room, an inviting kitchen or a dining space where everyone gathers.
We use Littlefair’s wood dyes to bring colour and the timber’s natural detail together. Careful preparation and individual finishing are part of the attention we give each piece at Rutherford Works.
