Home and Living

Explore handmade wooden furniture for dining spaces, kitchens and hallways. Rutherford Works makes dining benches and shelving to order in the North East, with bespoke breakfast bar dimensions available by arrangement.

A wooden bench for everyday living

Our Light Oak finish dining bench has a straight flat edge and black A-frame legs. Choose lengths from 100–180cm, approximately 40cm deep. Check the clearance beneath your dining table if you want the bench to tuck away, or use it as a place to sit in a hallway.

From a shelf to a bespoke breakfast bar

The Light Oak live edge shelf is available in standard shelf dimensions. For a deeper breakfast bar top, discuss the dimensions and supports with us before ordering. Shelves and tops are supplied undrilled without brackets, screws or wall fixings. Light Oak is the finish colour rather than the timber species.
