Every bench is handmade to order in our North East workshop. We shape, sand and finish each wooden seat individually, working with its natural grain and knots to create a piece that is truly one of a kind. A clean flat edge and black A-frame legs give the design an understated shape that feels at home in both country kitchens and contemporary dining rooms.
The warm Light Oak finish is created using Littlefair’s wood dye, bringing out the timber’s natural detail. It sits beautifully alongside linen, soft neutrals and the everyday mix of belongings that makes a family home your own.
Beautifully practical on busy days
Pull it up for shared meals, make a place for a conversation while dinner cooks, or use it in the hallway for putting on shoes before the school run. When the meal is over, the backless design can tuck beneath a suitably sized table, freeing up floor space for the rest of the day. Check the clearance between your table legs and beneath its top when choosing your bench length.

Light Oak describes the finish colour, rather than the timber species. Natural grain, knots and colour vary, so your bench will have its own individual character.
