Care and Fitting
A little care for a piece with character.
Natural timber responds to its surroundings. Keep your piece away from prolonged direct heat and standing moisture. Use coasters and heat-resistant mats, wipe spills promptly and clean gently with a soft, lightly damp cloth, drying afterwards. Avoid abrasive cleaners and test any maintenance product on an inconspicuous area first.
Shelves and breakfast bars
Shelves are supplied undrilled, without brackets, screws or wall fixings. Choose supports suitable for the wall construction, shelf dimensions and intended use. Follow the support manufacturer's instructions and ask a competent installer if unsure. A breakfast bar requires support appropriate to its dimensions and use; contact us to discuss your project before ordering.
Dining tables
Legs arrive detached, with pilot holes, screws and assembly instructions provided. Follow the supplied instructions, assemble on a protected surface and check all fixings before use. Lift furniture when moving it rather than dragging it.
Individual by nature
Grain, knots and finish appearance vary between pieces. Live-edge profiles are individually shaped, so the outline and depth vary. Contact us before ordering if you need a precise fit or want to coordinate a table and bench.
