A favourite photograph, a trailing plant, the pottery collected on a weekend away. Our Driftwood Grey Live Edge Shelf gives the things you love a beautiful place in your home, with soft grey colour and a flowing outline that makes the shelf itself part of the display.
Every piece is handmade to order in our North East workshop. We work with the grain, knots and character of each board, shaping and finishing it individually. Those details make your shelf one of a kind: a statement piece with a place in everyday family life.
The Driftwood Grey finish brings a gently weathered look to the timber. It sits beautifully with warm whites, linen, muted blues and natural textures, bringing a sense of calm to busy kitchens and family living spaces.
The sculpted live edge gives each piece its own silhouette. Choose it for a relaxed, expressive feature above a sideboard, across a kitchen wall or in a corner that deserves a little attention.
We use Littlefair’s wood dyes to bring colour and the timber’s natural detail together. Careful preparation and individual finishing are part of the attention we give each piece at Rutherford Works.
