From favourite mugs to framed family moments, our Soft White Live Edge Shelf makes a welcoming home for the things you reach for and the things you treasure. Its pale finish and gently flowing shape bring brightness and character to your room.
Every piece is handmade to order in our North East workshop. We work with the grain, knots and character of each board, shaping and finishing it individually. Those details make your shelf one of a kind: a statement piece with a place in everyday family life.
Soft White gives the timber a delicate wash of colour with grain still visible. It pairs naturally with linen, warm neutrals, pale blues and wooden furniture, feeling equally at home in a country kitchen or a fresh, contemporary interior.
The sculpted live edge creates an individual outline, making every shelf a small statement in its own right. Prefer a subtle white wash or a fuller white finish? Tell us when ordering so we can discuss the look you have in mind.
We use Littlefair’s wood dyes to bring colour and the timber’s natural detail together. Careful preparation and individual finishing are part of the attention we give each piece at Rutherford Works.

What’s included: one shelf in your selected size, supplied undrilled. Brackets, screws and wall fixings are not included. Display accessories are not included.
